A joint meeting of the City Council and Planning Commission was held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, to obtain additional input and direction for moving forward with the draft Suffolk 2045 plan. City staff will update the Planning Commission on June 18, 2024, at 12 pm, in Suffolk City Hall, Council Chambers, 442 W Washington Street, to discuss changes to the draft plan.
The updated draft plan document will be available online on the resources page of the Suffolk 2045 website on June 19, 2024.
Planning Commission and City Council public hearing dates to consider action on Suffolk 2045 have not been scheduled. Keep an eye on the Suffolk 2045 website for additional announcements as we move forward in the plan adoption process.
